The UTR solution
UTR offers a new approach to establish high yield protein production processes in mammalian cell systems. By utilizing selected mRNA targeting elements and a specific signal peptide coding sequence the synthesis and secretion of a recombinant protein can be significantly enhanced, leading to high and efficient production of the protein of interest.
This approach demonstrated yield improvements 30% - 60% above those obtained in highly optimized industrial cell culture systems. Increased productivities of up to 50-fold have been observed using model proteins secreted by stable populations of transfected cells.
Our products also enable direct secretion of intracellular proteins.
Technology basis
The UTR technology and products are based on powerful protein targeting and trafficking sequences. These targeting elements are easily incorporated into various vectors and cell systems to create high producer clones.
